I think she wants her receipt 😭

This coulda and shoulda been avoided by giving her the receipt. Legally, it belongs to the customer and refusing to return it is no different then keeping her change. Employee definitely needs training.

Idk why people stick to their ego. If the woman wanted to break the glass, throw the chairs all over the place (it happens) THERE IS NOTHING THE EMPLOYEES WOULDVE HAVE DONE. And police and their employers would just ask "WHY DIDNT YOU GIVE HER THE FREAKING PAPER..?"
