When asked why this charging station along PCH at Zuma Beach in Malibu wasn’t operating — neighbors tell me it has never operated over the years — the city of Malibu referred me to LA County Beaches and Harbors. From what I can gather, after multiple phone calls and emails to the LA Co B&H PIO, there is no PIO and there is no way to get information in this issue. Kinda like California crime reporting: if there is no one to answer the phone, or take a report, there is no crime.
