By exactly 2:03am this morning, I was on a call, usually I would be ontop my bed but I decided to be in my living room where they was mosquitoes, I got in the room and was about to go shower because they was no light when I heard rumblings, I ran outside and the whole thing fell, what are the chances of me not laying on my bed by 2:03am, I would have been dead. If there’s a man to pray, there’s a God that listens, God is faithful.

I know I've probably told this story before but Spider man 2 literally did. I was in a very dark place when I was still a kid. I would watch Spiderman 2 every night and it was the only thing that made it bearable, only thing that could help me sleep. Anytime the darkness would get too much I heard those words about just holding on a second longer, even if it hurts. I like that the speech wasn't about getting rid of pain but that you can endure it, that sometimes heroes sacrifice their own happiness to give people hope. If Spiderman sacrifices to inspire me to be strong then I couldn't let Spiderman or Aunt May down. I didn't have anyone in my corner at the time, nobody giving me speeches in life, advice, encouragement. I identified with Peter and almost felt like Aunt May was also talking to me. Not sure I would have made it without that movie.
