When we are close to a deal, there is always something that sabotages it. This is an endless cycle. There was a reason that ridiculous petition with less than 0.5% of Canadians support was pushed so hard over the last two days. The Liberals can use it as an excuse as to why negotiations failed. They don’t actually want a deal, but they also don’t want millions of Canadians revolting against them because their jobs and livelihoods have been destroyed because of it.

After over a year our Government has not had a single formal talk with the US regarding USMCA? Mexico has had them, but not Canada. Canadian industries are right to be concerned.
