I think the present govt is in power for so long based on issues that are not governance oriented, that now it’s even lost the will to make governance work

#WATCH | Delhi: On UP CM Yogi Adityanath's statement, Congress leader Mumtaz Patel says, "I would say that the public is exhausted now; people are saying they don't want statements or speeches, they want good governance... Enough is enough. How long will you continue to play politics based on religion, pitting Hindus against Muslims? How long will you keep distracting people from the real issues? If, instead of the energy you currently pour into divisive politics, you had focused on good governance, addressing inflation, unemployment, farmers' issues, women's safety, education, the ongoing exam paper leaks, and healthcare, then perhaps the face of the country would be entirely different..."

I have been clear: the current school board governance structure is based on an outdated system that needs to be modernized. Our focus is to provide students with better outcomes and certainty, and we are looking to finalize governance changes as soon as possible.

Large-scale infiltration continues unchecked, placing additional strain on resources meant for the people of West Bengal. Instead of addressing these challenges, those in power appear more focused on political survival than governance. I want to assure the people of West Bengal that the Bharatiya Janata Party will never adopt such practices to gain power. We remain committed to transparent governance and will not betray the trust of the people of West Bengal.

Local issues are not partisan issues. I am opposed to establishing political parties at the municipal level. There are many pressing issues that require a collaborative approach to municipal governance, and local elected officials need to be able to work across partisan lines. Our Provincial government should focus on the issues that matter to Edmontonians, such as paying their fair share of property taxes, instead of these changes that will create division and more red tape. I sat down to share some of my thoughts. #yegcc

When #ANC lost its majority in 2024, we had to protect state power so as to not render the NDR unachievable. We opted to form a GNU with 9 other parties that are represented in parliament who almost disagree on many aspects of policy but concur on stability & governance. #ANC113

Krishnamoorthi: I think that Trump not addressing what Americans want him to address—which is the affordability of living in the United States—and instead engaging in these reckless military adventures abroad, really presents a stark choice for the American people as to what type of governance they want: Donald Trump’s governance or ours

One of the most important lessons of 2024 is that communication and public participation are critical pillars of governance. The reason the Finance Bill issue snowballed into a security and governance crisis is that it was wrongly viewed in isolation as a Treasury matter, and not the multidimensional issue that it truly was. We have learnt our lessons as a Government. That is why we are now institutionalizing public participation even in the security sector.

Peter Obi: If I'm the president of this country, I will do everything possible to make opposition parties strong and participatory in governance. Chude: But if the president believes his party is the strongest party to rescue the country and he believes that the opposition's ideas are damaging, why should he be helping them become strong? Peter Obi: It’s about democracy, no one party has a monopoly on ideas that make society work.

People now see the real face of the BJP. Its leaders are busy defaming Hindu dharma instead of doing any productive work. All the focus is on symbolism, not governance. Mark my words, this is why BJP won’t return to power. #Anti_Hindu_BJP

That boy will grow up thinking black immigrants are the reason for his poverty not govt corruption, economic mismanagement, bad governance and looting. What a shame!! Jacinta, Ngizwe and Phakelumthakathi are brainwashing children with self-hate.
