This is the arc that really sucker punched me, I adore it so much. It also just basically confirmed either Nisioisin has tapped into the same creative psychopath energy as Ryukishi that makes stories *this good*

When Sodachi says “Happiness is too heavy for me” I weep. Every. Fucking. Time. That very feeling kept me chained to my own self destruction for long enough that I nearly died. The first time I saw this arc, I kept pausing from the near constant emotional release.

Her voice actress absolutely killed it. I can’t give her more credit than I already do. Sodachi makes me so emotional

An interesting twist of the "childhood friend" trope And honestly, till today, I still believe her feelings for Arararagi are two sides of the same coin. In a kinder romcom universe, she would've been the heroine
