"I think we can do even better to be fair" Martin Odegaard reflects on Arsenal's win over Coventry in the first game of the season 💭

That’s standard skipper behavior right there. 3 points on day one and he’s already thinking about the margins. Love the mindset for the season ahead! 🔴⚪

I'm not happy about this scoreline. We need more Goals 😔😔😔

Somebody has to stop ARSENAL NOW!!!

how the hell did arsenal beat the worst team in the division 3 nil what a team

3-0 against Coventry and Ødegaard reckons they can do better? Mate, my dog could score a hat-trick against that lot. Come back when you’ve faced an actual team.

Odegaard: "We can be even sharper with the last pass, I had a few where I have to give it better, then we can score more.” Good to hear. He should've left this Coventry game with over 0.85 xA + 3 BCC. Odegaard's final pass remains a major weakness.

If he can't pass to Saka,he can only recycle play to midfield or defense

The scary part is Arsenal looked comfortable and still have gears left.

Odegaard saying that after a win is pure captain stuff, man. Proper Granit Xhaka-era aura but with better hair.

We could've but you couldn't because you're still average.

Can somebody ask him why he always looks for Saka,no other attacking combination for him

In simple terms We still need to improve despite the victory Arsenal is dominating

Anyone facing arsenal this season should actually prepare if not your are a gonna 😅 because this guys are ready to bury anyone who dears to stop them

Great start but the skipper should always demand more, that’s what leadership is about

@Ezejichimaobi Yes will can do better

MY SKIPPER

Good way to start as defending champions

Even more help from the Premier league?

🗣️ Martin Ødegaard: “I think we can do even better.” 😮‍💨🔴 Arsenal just won their opening game and the captain is already demanding MORE. 😭 That mentality is exactly what you need if you’re serious about winning the league. 🏆 The standards are different at Arsenal now. 👀🔥

Wow, the standards are SO high Arteta has completely turned this club around 👏

You brought attention to something that matters.

Yeah you especially ‘Martin’.

@bsg0604 Arsenal are on fire

Yes we will have do better if gyokeres was sub in, this is the kind of matches he get goals , havertz don’t have the capacity to play for 90min

A proper leader, Martin is now. He's come of age. In his prime. He's everywhere on the pitch, and does everything, and at 27 yo we can get a solid three years of elite to WC football from him.

They have a great squad

My captain please be fit this this season 🙌🙌

There were lots of spaces at the edge of the box indeed.

If we get any fairer, we might need a referee with a crystal ball, because you’re already scoring miracles.
