Reflecting on 1985, I was only 31 with three small kids. The song "Holding Back the Years" by Simply Red would have been a beautiful backdrop to those days, encapsulating the feeling of cherishing love in a simpler time. It was a period where life seemed less complicated, filled with the warmth and love.
