I think we have less than 5 years until it will be considered malpractice for doctors to diagnose patients without AI.

When I go to the doctor, often they will do the same google search as I did or enter the same symptoms into webmd as I did. They will do this after telling me to not trust my own google searches or webmd results. In the future, doctors will tell me to not trust the same prompts.

AI has immense potential to enhance diagnostic accuracy, but it should complement, not replace, a physician's expertise.

That is highly likely. I’m not even sure what we will need doctors for in 5 years, even for surgery. Maybe just for a final check still, but certainly not in 10 years.

Yes, right now doctors are held to the standards of care established by their peers not using AI much, but as the models consistently outperform human doctors, they will have to adapt or die

I respectfully disagree. Our research suggests a significant portion of people don’t want technology involved to that extent. “Higher level of education increased distrust of technology in the encounter.”

From what I've seen most doctors are money hungry dip shits anyways. Replacing them needs to happen very soon. I don't care i said it.

In 5 years, AI diagnosing patients might be malpractice if it’s NOT used. The question is: will the AI be smarter than the doctor, or just faster?
