This woman needs to read the huge amount of papers on the effects of covid that continue after the initial symptoms. Oh, and by the way, covid is still killing around 1000 people a month in its early stages in the UK. Look At The Evidence.

The holy grail of insight needed to rehabilitate the human race! Leading psychiatrist says “this is the most important interview of all time, it solves the human condition, ends suffering & turmoil at its source & finally makes sense of our lives!”

In 2015 the Countess of Mar was amongst many who wrote to Suzanne O'Sullivan about the truly appallingly misinformed way she wrote about #ME in her previous book. Why is O'Sullivan being given a platform to promote her views again now?

Dr Suzanne O'Sullivan has a long history of claiming a range of conditions are psychosomatic when it isn't actually the case. She may have a background in stem subjects but she's pushing doctrine rather than science.

I’m not sure there is plenty of evidence. A few Neurologists/ psychiatrists have said this type of thing for years. In the 90s there was “worry” re. diagnosing the illness that I have, M.E, & failure to diagnose &provide careful early-stage Mngmt led many to become very disabled

She has a book out. Is that why she is on?

Employers have never properly accepted ‘fit noted’, generally took the line ‘if you’re not fit you’re not fit and stay away’. Don’t want to upset insurance companies with added risk. Employers also not prepared to take on those who are disabled/special needs. Fix this first

Yeah. She's akin to an anti vaxxer. Really @BBCr4today what have you become? Are you not embarrassed by this? I mean it's Daily Fail rubbish

BBC Laura k “ Suzanne o Sullivan says this, do you agree Wes Streeting ? Yes I do” BBC today re SoS “ WES Streeting says this & suzanne agrees” Hmm, 2 personal opinions, with little supporting evidence. Poor timing of bbc amidst benefits controversy & around LC awareness day

We do need a complete shift - people's suffering needs to be acknowledged, and the diseases funded and treated to alleviate that suffering. Erasing diseases doesn't erase suffering.

The issue re neurodivergence is that it is medicalised and seen as abnormal . It is the attitudes to the diagnosis not the diagnosis that is the issue . It is not a disorder, it is different and can be wonderful !
