She is asking Jesus Christ to come back and tell her what he meant by “it is finished.” She really wants to know what finished. Is the hunger in the world, the sicknesses like cancer, the banditry and terrorism, not to talk of bad government? The Bible says by his stripes we are healed, but why do we still suffer to build wealth, bear children and will still die? I think Christians should explain and give more clarification.

Whether it's the war in Ukraine or the situation today, we should think about it." On the Transgender bill, she says, "I really think that it's unfortunate that they are not sending it to the standing committee. What the community feels is that this bill is going to obliterate their identity, and therefore it was very, very important that they should have been consulted and that this bill that is being brought about should have taken place or should have been passed after proper consultation. I think it's very unfair that the entire community feels like they have not been consulted, and such a big decision is being taken in their context. I wish the government had listened and put it on the standing committee."

“I don’t think we should abandon Israel,” says author and political scientist Shadi Hamid. But, he argues, the U.S. should use its leverage more forcefully—even if that means tough conversations with an ally. While some pressure did shape Israel’s behavior, he says, the U.S. could have gone much further. “If we had threatened a full suspension of military assistance, I do think that it’s possible that Israel would have stopped the war earlier, and we could have saved tens of thousands of Palestinian lives.”

I just have more knowledge now of how I would have handled the circumstance five years ago if I were in the same body and mindset I’m in now. As far as regrets, I think we can always, always, always do better—but without doing things the way we do them, we don’t learn how to do those things better.
