i think we should start talking about this scene more

i'm extremely attached to francine as a character but also as an individual. a lot of people tend to focus on the fact that she's a wild-card, she has a vibrant and extroverted personality and is generally just a 'wild woman' as the show portrays her that way!!!

i just wish more people could talk about her emotions and the way she manages to deal with them. the smith family, they all have their toxic coping mechanisms that seem to work for them

with franny, it's so clear that she uses humor and drinking as a way to cope with the lack of inclusion in her own family, the loneliness and fears that she has within her.

over the course of the show, she develops more of a behind the scenes personality that the viewer gets to see more of than her actual family gets to know. we know that she's afraid of failure, she's afraid of being shut out of her own family

don't ever let me speak about stan and/or francine ever again cause i will just talk to u about how they are so lovely and i love them as actual people

- The Kingdom

Francine has gradually become one of my favourite characters and the episodes like this one and the bodybuilding one where we get a deeper insight into her are some of my favourites of the entire show, I hope they have more of them in the future

agreed! i can only hope that these type of episodes aren't abandoned completely, it's really interesting and insightful to get to see more of their personalities this way. suuuch a good family

semi hit tweet ... please follow me if you like american dad cause i post about it a lot 😊 Also i've been in love with stan and francine since i was five thanks 🎨: @/D3rangedFirefly

i love francince so much and i adore this scene/episode because of how it explores her character more in depth beyond the sprinkles of small insight we usually get. francine is such a lovely character and i love when she gets the chance to shine without being put down <3

YES EXACTLY!!! she is such a good individual. she is sweet and i love getting to see the fact that she feels emotions just as anyone else does. she is so full of fear that it’s absolutely so raw and it shows how human she is. she deserves the world.
