I thought I knew when a marriage starts, I thought wrong and here is why

This is true! Not a lot of people understand commitment and how much it takes out of you to love another even when they don’t deserve it. If you do go for it, find someone who loves themselves so much, bad times can’t refine them.

It takes everything to commit to another.

Ppl have to realize that and stop letting the outside world preach ONLY self love. You have to love your partner even when they aren't so loveable

Exactly. That is the commitment many run away from.

Ma problem with words like this is that it makes ppl take away the conscious effort to make it easy for the other person. It seems as though ppl are to just be anyhow, and their patners are supposed to continue loving them regardless cos they made a commitment. 😪😪

My wife and I celebrated 36 years this year, it’s been some rough moments like Viola said you look over at your soul mate and say why sometimes, but at the end of the day I love my soul mate for better or worse.
