At first I thought this crow was just messing around with a piece of plastic. Turns out, scientists actually have a name for behavior like this, object play. Crows and other corvids have been observed picking up, manipulating and playing with objects when there doesn't appear to be any food or obvious survival benefit involved. In other words, this crow may be doing it for the same reason we would. Because it's fun. What do you think?
