I threw a rough concept into Yapper with almost no structure…and watched it build the idea out in stages 👇 → Created the frames → Connected them into motion → Adjusted the style automatically → Kept iterating without restarting everything That’s when I realized: The real innovation isn’t “better...

Dario Amodei just revealed the exact realization that fractured OpenAI. It happened while building the most powerful AI in the world. The team discovered that scaling had no ceiling. Amodei: “If you pour more compute into these models, they’ll get better and better, and that there’s almost no end to this.” At the time, almost nobody believed it. Amodei’s group were among the first to see it clearly. More compute meant more intelligence. Indefinitely. Without limit. That should have been the most exciting discovery in the history of technology. It terrified them. Because they saw the second half of the equation the industry was ignoring entirely. Amodei: “You don’t tell the models what their values are just by pouring more compute into them.” Intelligence scales with compute. Values don’t. You can build a mind of unlimited capability and it will have no moral compass unless you deliberately build one in. Not as a feature. Not as a guardrail bolted on at the end. As the foundation the entire system is constructed on. This wasn’t a philosophical disagreement. It was an existential one. A god-like intelligence with no alignment isn’t a powerful tool. It’s an uncontrolled force with no reason to care about the species that built it. Amodei: “There were a set of people who believed in those two ideas. We really trusted each other and wanted to work together, and so we went off and started our own company with that idea in mind.” They walked out of the most powerful AI lab on earth. Not for better funding. Not for equity. Because they believed the path OpenAI was on led somewhere nobody could walk back from. That small group became Anthropic. Safety wasn’t a feature they added. It was the entire reason the company exists. The intelligence is going to keep scaling. There is almost no end to it. The only question that has ever mattered is what it’s pointing at when it gets there.

Peter Steinberger, creator of OpenClaw, on why AI agents still produce "slop" without human taste in the loop: "You can create code and run all night and then you have like the ultimate slop because what those agents don't really do yet is have taste." Peter is direct: raw capability without direction still produces mediocre output. "They are spiky smart and they're really good at things, but if you don't navigate them well, if you don't have a vision of what you're going to build, it's still going to be slop. If you don't ask the right questions, it's still going to be slop." Great AI-assisted work is defined by the human guiding it. Peter Steinberger 🦞 describes his own creative process when starting a new project: "When I start a project, I have like this very rough idea what it could be. And as I play with it and feel it, my vision gets more clear. I try out things, some things don't work, and I evolve my idea into what it will become." Most people skip this part entirely, front-loading everything into a single prompt and wondering why the result feels hollow. "My next prompt depends on what I see and feel and think about the current state of the project." Each step informs the next. The work itself is the feedback loop. "But if you try to put everything into a spec up front, you miss this kind of human-machine loop. And then I don't know how something good can come out without having feelings in the loop — almost like taste." The agentic trap is what happens when you remove yourself from the process too early.

i built a way to make full ai films with seedance 2.5 + higgsfield without shooting a single frame in real life you start with a screenplay, a treatment, or even just an idea and it gives you an actual production plan: scenes, shots, character references, locations, dialogue, b-roll, sound, captions, everything you need to turn it into a finished film this was supposed to stay internal but f*ck it, i’m sharing the whole workflow here’s how it works: the script gets broken down scene by scene, then every scene gets turned into a proper shot list with prompts that account for character continuity, wardrobe, lighting, locations, camera movement, pacing, and what needs to happen before and after that shot those prompts get run through seedance 2.5, using reference assets and longer generations to keep the film feeling like one world instead of a thousand random ai clips stitched together then the footage gets assembled with voice, sound design, music, dialogue, captions, and transitions into an actual watchable film the whole system is built to take you from script to a finished film seedance 2.5 is coming soon on higgsfield, but i’m sharing the full breakdown before it so you can be prepared: the script-to-scene system that turns a screenplay into a real production plan seedance 2.5 prompt setup for cinematic shots and consistent characters the reference-asset workflow for keeping faces, wardrobe, locations, and visual style locked in the editing, voice, sound, and caption workflow that turns generated clips into a finished movie RT + reply “FILM” and (i’ll send it over must follow so i can dm)
