@_realkings I agree with the dad too. My mom and I used to kiss each other all the time, nothing wrong with cheek kisses or even little light pecks on the lips. The level of hurt on his face was very apparent. It's not like he was doing anything creepy, it was a kiss on the forehead.

@_realkings I experienced something similar but reversed. I turned 13 and tried giving my dad a hug and he put his hand out instead. Said I'm a man now. Don't hug him shake his hand.... lol. I smacked his hand and gave him a hug anyway. 😂

@_realkings I know kids eventually outgrow that and push their parents away or put up boundaries, but a kiss to greet someone isn't gendered, and he should talk to his dad like a rational adult, and not the way he did, inferring that male family members cannot kiss like that.

@_realkings My dad is almost 70 years old and still calls me his baby boy and gives me cheek kisses. Has been doing it since the day I was born. I would never deny him from showing affection but everything nowadays is so oversexualized
