And yes, I have seen them spending millions on airports that no one uses.

Perplexity Computer just opened a PR on my repo, starting with a simple task... improving SEO What stands out is how it executes. Exploring with Gemini, then switching to Opus when it’s time to actually write code (I haven’t seen it use Codex or Grok) I’m going to ramp up the complexity from here. So far, it’s delivered on every task. I have a few more in progress that I’ll be sharing over the next few days.

I just sequenced a human genome to 30× coverage entirely at home. As far as I know, this is the first time this has been done. I didn’t step foot in a lab once. Every step - from saliva collection, to running the sequencer - took place in a single room with a dining table + kitchenette. Six weeks ago, I had never done wet lab biology before. I used an Oxford Nanopore P2 Solo - the only commercially available sequencing device portable enough to do 30x human genome sequencing at home. Biggest takeaway - I could build something that combined software, hardware, and molecular biology far faster than I thought was possible. I can name >100 specific instances where AI helped me solve a technical problem that would previously have blocked me because I lacked access to a domain expert. For example: how do I save my sequencing run when my DNA extraction yield is 4x lower than I need it to be, and I have this limited set of reagents to hand? To make this work, I had to navigate multiple disciplines: - writing software to monitor sequencing runs and orchestrate remote GPU infra for basecalling - learning + executing 5 hour long molecular biology protocols - building a hardware device to quantify DNA concentration Apologies for the hyperbole, but I feel super lucky to be living in 2026. I explored a further possibility with local models: Qwen3.6 35B A3B + NVIDIA LocateAnything-3B as a local Computer Use agent (proof of concept). In the demo, I asked it to switch my Mac to light mode. It did. Then back to dark. Did that too — finding the right toggle in System Settings, clicking it, and verifying the change itself. It's fully screenshot-based, so no Accessibility API needed. If it's on screen, the agent can see it and act on it. This runs entirely on your own hardware — private, local, built from two small open models.

I spent 7’ on the phone with Flexaago. 5’ was spent on sharing personal stories. 2 minutes was spent on agreeing the number for Lagos Liga. Done deal. This is what I do. On to the next one.

UPDATE: I’M ABLE TO SPEAK AGAIN!! I been talking since Tuesday. For those that aren’t familiar with tracheotomies, because of the open hole in my throat, it prevents me from speaking because air goes out the trach rather than up through your voice box. So in order for me to speak, I have a cap called a speaking valve (the purple cap). What it does is cover the trach to allow the air I breathe to go through my nose and mouth again while stopping air from coming out my throat, allowing my voice to come out. It’s a really big adjustment and what should feel like breathing normal doesn’t feel natural at all. I can only wear it for a short time before getting tired for now. A week ago I didn’t even know how to breathe with it on, but last night I had it on for the longest I’ve had so far and it felt comfortable. So there’s hope to getting back to normalcy. I Still have to adjust to my daily life with this thing in my throat. Still not comfortable gaming or sitting for long period of time because of the position I need to be in. It’s getting better though. Hopefully it’s still just part of the healing process. Also. Thank you to the community for giving me the confidence to post videos and pictures of myself in the most unflattering situations.

IT WORKS!!!!! FOFR shared a secret little new Nano Banana 2 feature Google snuck in with the full release of Nano Banana 2. I tweaked the prompt a bit to make sure it kept as close as possible to the input video. It may take a bit for third parties to enable this via API but I was able to do this on Gemini with a Seedance 2.0 video. Create a faithful 100% accurate anime direct adaptation image from 6 specific exact shots from this video include the exact matching dialogue
