🌹: I came here(to the studio) today to work on songs, and the hyungs also gave me birthday presents. 🦊 i finished wrapping up first my solo recently and as words from people around me started influencing me, it really stressed me out and it really started swaying my identity as a person…i was really burnt out for 3 months 🦊 i used to be someone that told people everything when i was going through a hard time like “i’m going through a tough time right now” but i don’t know when it started, but i couldn’t get myself to tell people around me anymore 👤 i wonder why? was it out of consideration for them? 🦊 that could be why…and i also felt like i needed to learn how to overcome things myself 🦊 i didn’t say anything to anyone and was going through it myself…then i thought about namjoon hyung so i went to him and asked him a lot of questions and one of the things he said to me was that he hopes i face the things that make me uncomfortable 🦊 i had conflicts with soobin and we had awkward phases but i wanted to erase all of these things one by one and i feel like there were also a lot of things that i had been misunderstanding, coming to think of it now…so i went up to soobin first and said “hey, let’s go get a drink”

I was asked, how do I manage stress from economic shocks, geopolitical shocks, and all the things that are going on? While my typical approaches like "pain plus reflection equals progress" and meditation are highly effective, I’ll pass along another principle that I think is the best advice: The Serenity Prayer. I view this almost like a game. These macro things are happening, but there are also a lot of joyous things and choices that exist with us. It’s really up to me to navigate them. What can I control that's really important to me? What can't I control? I can't live forever, so I’m not going to get stressed out about that. But on the other hand, I can control certain things. Having that equanimity allows me to approach life in a way where I don't get hijacked. It is logical, real, and practical. Look around you. You’ve got wonderful things and things you aspire to. Don't get so attached. If you navigate your life well, you're going to be fine.

I don't know about you guys, but I feel extremely blessed. Beautiful house. Beautiful wife and kids. Beautiful country that has given me so much. I don't know about you guys, but I feel some sort of way every SINGLE time I look at our American flag. It is easy to get caught up in the chaos of life and all of the things going wrong. Sometimes, it is harder to see your blessings right in front of your face. Take time to notice those things and praise God! He has his hand on every part of your life. Trust him.

🦊 please keep looking after us 🦊 me and the members…although it’s been 7 years, i think there are still a lot of ways in which we’re lacking and a lot of things we need to get through 🦊 i always try to get close to perfection…i believe i can’t be 100% perfect but me, the members and moas…let’s fill each other’s gaps, embrace each other’s short comings and comfort each other while beautifully and gloriously getting through our future activities 🦊 since it’s our 7th anniversary and all the members renewed their contracts together, this really feels like we’re opening up tomorrow x together 2.0 🦊 i’m really looking forward to and excited for our future activities and the days ahead 🦊 things are still fun as always and i hope that in the future too, we can all have fun doing these things like we are now

This DC detective was assigned a kidnapped child case. He was sitting alone in his car, trying to sort things out in his head feeling really bad for the father. So he asked God how would I find this child and if you were to tell me where would I look? What things would I look to get the answer you’re trying to give me? All the sudden this car pulls up slows down, and the detective looks at the driver in the car and gets a sick feeling in his stomach.. and in that moment he knew.. he jumped out of his car. He tells the guy to get out and open the trunk, and sure enough..the kid was in the trunk and he was ok .. So do we ask God for answers and just not read the terrain/signs correctly ?
