Was betrayed and jailed by his master....

He was filled with jealousy & pride. Talented, but not humble & forgiving. That’s the contrast between him and Po.

Maturity shoulda let you see how he's wrong. As a kid I felt like he was betrayed. Growing up, I realized that he could never have been the dragon warrior. If he ever did, he'd be a tyrant.

Sorry but “destroying the village because I didn’t get what I want” is not a redeemable quality

It’s like Anakin in Star Wars, they fear all that power so instead of continuing to guide them down a righteous path their masters basically gave up

He has a point. Shifu betrayed him 💔

Maturity is reality tai lung sees shifu as a father figure and the biggest betrayal, is in fact, that shifu had fed him the idea that he is the dragon warrior and when the turtle just say oh he's not~ instead of supporting his disciple, shifu just agree with that turtle

whole edit ruined bc mf said 'boans'

Shifu should not have filled his head with dreams. Basically he was set up for his ego to be destroyed because shifu made the ego. Shifu should have understood that he should make a realistic alternative path for failure.

Actually he’s very wrong The dragon warrior wasn’t something that could be given to just anyone He didn’t fit the criteria What was Shifu meant to do? Bro was nothing more than an egotist

Try maturing, and you'll understand why he's wrong
