i use multiply to create shadows. each shadow is clipped to the base color layer and i change the hue depending on the mood i want to create.

I used the color data I already had on this galaxy and stacked about 10 minutes worth of exposures to create this animation. You can see how close the supernova is to some nebulae in the arm… imagine the view from there!

Testing out color now. I have the python script convert the image to a max 20 colors to try and keep the time down since the color change is pretty slow.

Yesterday someone suggested I create a fight between Alucard and Drolta Tzuentes using Kling AI 2.6. I usually work with Text to Video, but in this case I had to use Image to Video. The base image is a fusion of two images created in Niji and combined with GPT Image 1.5. Then I added the right prompt to give the fight speed and dynamism. The result isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty cool.

Magnific 'Structure Reference' + RunwayML "Restyle video" to colorize old movies ... I think one might run this in a way you use this to help to determine the color layer and then apply the colors on top of the original black and white image... ... would work best if you would do a separate init frame for each cut...

Really cool use case I found with Gemini Omni. The model can listen to commands in the video and make adjustments based off of these commands. > Change the color of the background to whatever color the subject in the video says.
