i usually don’t like taking sides, because these discussions often end up creating even more division but in this case, i think an entire category of people deserves to be defended what happened with jason paige shows how easily a few words taken out of context, or a clipped...

Fox’s Jacqui Heinrich: “Given how the Iranians have been behaving, do you have any regrets about lifting the naval blockade or giving the sanctions waivers?” President Trump: “N, no. I gave them a chance. I wanted to give them a chance at making a deal. You know, we had a deal two days ago. It was done, and then all of a sudden they couldn’t do it. They didn’t like something about the deal, they couldn’t do it, and they shot first, and that was a big mistake that they shot first, because we have been knocking the hell out of them. They’re very difficult people. 47 years we put up with it the USS Cole, you go back all the way. Thousands of people, thousands of Americans were killed. A lot of soldiers were killed. A lot of soldiers are walking around or not walking around. I mean, they’ve been so badly injured. The arms, the legs, the face with the Soleimani, with the bomb. A — they call it the roadside bomb. Most people call it the roadside bomb. It’s a disaster, and I killed him in my first administration. Had I not, it might be a different story today. He was a mad genius. He was a mad — probably a mad man. But he was a general and he had total control over the country, and I actually think the leaders of Iran were afraid of Soleimani. But I killed him. And by the way, with him went a very bad person, also. They happened to be meeting each other at the airport, and a very bad person from Iraq — happened to be a leader of Iraq — happened to be killed in that same incident. So, I don’t know if I did you a favor or not. I’ve never asked you that question. You probably would know better than me. But no, I think — I think that — I think that what we’ve done to Iran is we’ve taken away all of them, almost all of their military capability.”

Preface: this post is not an attack or insult towards Andrew. Whenever I correct someone, regardless of who it is, people twist it to make out as if I’m attacking or belittling them. This is not the case I’m making this post for 2 reasons 1) to raise awareness and educate Muslims regarding their faith 2) to advise Andrew. Now obviously I could dm Andrew the advice, but then it wouldn’t be of benefit to others, and there’s less chance of him seeing it So people please don’t cry in my mentions about how I’m being unfair or cruel to a revert - I’m a revert myself, having converted just over a year before Andrew And I’m also not calling for war against Christians, half of my family are Christian. I shouldn’t Even have to clarify this, but people love taking my posts out of context BUT, with the disclaimers out of the way Christians and Muslims can not be brothers, unless they are related by blood (like with my family, or Andrew’s) We can and should be kind to them of course, for it is said in the Quran: “Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them.” But brothers? Brotherhood? There is no brotherhood with those who disbelieve in Allah and the prophet ﷺ How can we be brothers with someone who calls the prophet ﷺ a liar? (keep in mind we love the prophet more than any other human being ever) How can we be brothers with one who says Allah has a son? Who says Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him) is god? Who believe the Quran is false and that sins like usury, alcohol consumption and Zina are permissible? These are not our brothers Our brothers are those designated by two means: 1) family, I.e. by blood 2) islam The late sheikh salih Al luhaidan explains below (rahimahullah) 👇

Every Ape of future Ape should listen to this! - figge talked about his approach to what club and membership is! I absolutely love it! This is what the club has been to me! I met incredible people from all over the world and had epic fun along the way! 👉This is an absolute banger: You don’t join a biker gang, you don’t join the Hells Angels, so you can get 10% off the price of gas at the pump. Listen to a clip below or read the transcript here (I polished it with ChatGPT because the transcript wasn't perfect) 👇👇👇👇 -------------------------- “Why should I join BAYC or MAYC?” The way that question manifests to me is: “Well, what do I get? Is club membership worth it? What have you done for me?” And I think even within our own club, if we accept the premise of that question, it forces us to start rattling off membership perks like this is a Costco card. And look, I love Costco, right? I’m not saying that as a slur. But I think the one thing that hasn’t been successful, and will continue not to be successful, is making this analogous to an entitlements card. I’ve said this to people: you don’t join a biker gang, you don’t join the Hells Angels, so you can get 10% off the price of gas at the pump. You don’t go riding every Sunday with your gang so you can get cashback rewards. That’s not what this thing is. And if it were, what you’d have is a consumer relationship. Consumer relationships have churn. There’s a lot of min-maxing on entitlements and benefits, and those entitlements are what you wind up getting priced on. Think about it: people join a biker gang because of the cut. They join because of what they wear and what each patch means. They join because they want to build relationships with other people they can count on. And a lot of these relationships, whether you’re a kid in high school or a billionaire industry titan, wind up opening your life to new adventures. I often compare community building here to what you see in politics or religion. I’ve probably said this every week on here: I see high-end community building in NFTs as being like politics or religion. Once you start approaching either politics or religion with, “Well, what do I get? Is membership worth it?” you’re really speeding past the best parts of what participating has to offer. So it’s not really about what my schedule is or what the team… It’s about… I mean, shout-out to Welcome Apes. Look at them out there. - figge

#WATCH | Delhi | On CJP protest, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says, "When a non-violent protest is taking place, what is the reason for a lathi-charge? Lathi charge is not an act of non-violence. It is an act of violence. I don't understand the logic of this. Similarly here in Parliament, everyone knows these are burning issues across the country. It would be logical to have a discussion on them. Parliament is supposed to be the place where we can ventilate the voice of the people, the concerns of the people. Once we do that, we all know the government has a majority. As the old saying goes, the Opposition must have its say because the government will have its way. They have the majority. But at least let parliament be a forum where these concerns can be heard, can be truly ventilated and voiced, where various people can represent the views of their constituents. Then the government can disagree. But right now, just refusing a discussion is what has led to today's disruption because the opposition wanted these issues up there, wanted an opportunity to talk about them on the floor of the house. If Parliament is not for raising these issues, then honestly, what is it for? I mean, it can't just be a sort of notice board for the government to announce its bills and get them passed with a rubber stamp. That's not what Parliament is all about. It should be a forum where all these views can be heard, discussed, debated as necessary and then passed. The Prime Minister has sought cooperation from the opposition. We'll cooperate if they cooperate. The idea should be that there should be mutual cooperation. Let them permit certain discussions. This has got to be give and take. That's the way Parliament is supposed to function."

🐤: I’ve wanted to say this for a while. I first became aware of it after reading fans’ letters. It’s strange. I don’t know if this person went from being a fan to an anti, or if they were never really a fan to begin with. Maybe that’s an odd way to put it. During my career, there are naturally fans I remember. People who support me, encourage me, and do kind things leave an impression on me. During live broadcasts, out of gratitude, I might say things like, “Oh, I heard you had a baby,” or “I heard this happened to you.” It’s a very normal way of communicating with fans. But after seeing that, it seems someone became jealous or developed some other kind of negative feeling. When I hear stories from these fans, I always think that if we all love Leeteuk together, shouldn’t we be able to enjoy that together and talk about positive things? Instead, it feels like, “Only I can love you, and I don’t want anyone else to.” Or even, “If I can’t have you, then neither can anyone else.” They engage in what is essentially cyberbullying, leaving hurtful comments and causing a lot of distress. It doesn’t seem to be directed at just one person either. They appear to target different fans who support and care about me, one after another. I’m not completely sure who it is, but I do have some guesses. I sincerely hope they stop. Wouldn’t it be much better if fans could simply enjoy their time together? I genuinely don’t understand why they do this. What are they hoping to achieve? Do they want me to fail? Or is it jealousy, like, “I don’t even like him, but why does Leeteuk remember you?” Honestly, I don’t know the exact reason.
