I voted against the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) because there is so much waste, fraud, and abuse in the Pentagon. Congress should not continue to throw more money at this administration’s illegal wars and regime change agenda.

I want to remind Congress once again, Ukraine is not America’s 51st state nor is Ukraine a NATO ally. Passing America’s NATIONAL Defense Authorization Act should not include funding for endless foreign wars while there are homeless veterans laying in our streets.

We need relief for our farmers and those affected by natural disasters, like in North Carolina and Hawaii. I want to pass this! But I can’t vote for a CR to continue the terrible spending I never voted for in the first place. We should be having a separate vote immediately to pass this much-needed funding—it shouldn’t be tied to more waste, fraud, and abuse.
