My father is an orthopedic who prays with patients before surgery. My sister is an MD who prays we patients. I pray with patients. We definitely exist out here in healthcare 🙏❤️

If you look over his shoulder, I see a head bowed standing with him in prayer. Yes this is who I'd want to take care of me for sure.

This is a picture that’s special to our family. My father hung it at his private ortho practice & when he was eventually absorbed by the hospital, he fought admin to hang it in his office. When he finally retires, it will be passed down to my sister for her clinic 🙏❤️

I had major surgery in 2016 and my surgeon held my hand and he prayed with me and my husband because it was a big one and we needed God🙏 amen

I’ve had both surgeons and an anesthesiologist pray for me before surgery. They’re out there.

I love this so much-we were transported by ambulance between three different hospitals in a single night because the first two were not confident that they could save my daughter’s eye after an injury. She was in 2nd (ish) grade at the time, and when we finally arrived to the final hospital at 4am, the dr said he was going to do an emergency surgery and asked if we could pray before. Prior, it was expected before that she would lose the eye or at least be blind and he was very up front that he couldn’t make any promises, but that he was going to do the best he could- she was legally blind and lost control of that eye for years after but we continued patching, etc and now has this adorable little star-shaped scar in that eye to remind her of what a rockstar she has always been. We love that surgeon and think of him often… Men and women like this don’t get enough recognition.

Yes, paying attention. There is a magnificent renewal in Christ in America and the world. A Christian watches for the movement of God in the world and supports the good in heart and soul. Trump is the greatest of Christians - fighting for Christianity in the church and values, and standing up to insidious evil greater than any man alive. He forgives easily, fights for the people, and fights for Jesus in heart and soul.

If only all doctors were like this

When I had my hysterectomy, my nurse told me my surgeon started each day praying for every single one of his patients. 💕. Between my praying and his praying, I knew I was covered.
