i wanted a better "human in the loop" flow for opencode such that i could easily make edits to proposed changes before/as they're suggested. so i made it

hmmmmm

hmmmmm?

@thdxr upstream plsss

@thdxr draft pr:

@bleuonbase well i have a branch im about to merge that redoes the whole permissions system lol

@dillon_mulroy oohh right i forgot you were working on that... well can something like this fit? i think they're different things probably, this is just adding a more nuanced option between approve/deny/approve all/ that becomes a intercept/modify payload of the toolcall

@dillon_mulroy yeah i think it's a good idea i'll look at this PR but im getting the reply needs to include some metadata that the tool can take into account

Do you reinforce into the model that an unexpected change was made via tool output?

yes

claude was reverting my changes as "unexpected changes" before i did that lol

yo mf you left our groupchat as dax built the mf thing i'm still gleam maxing tho it's all good

wut

it's true, we're adding you back in

can i see the code? rad.

hell ya

how about a debug mode

interesting way to look at this problem my preference is still to closely look at the diff as the final output and then make changes if any

Can you push a repo? Or link? This is extremely dope. Been wanting this exact implementation for a long while. You seriously nailed it.

I just bully @adamdotdev into building what I want

Those keyboard sounds were so nice I turned up my volume only to get completely jump scared at the end 😂

ahh before my time a bit I'm afraid

Okay but FR though that edit feature is very cool I hope @thdxr builds it

I love this. This is the type of thing that I’ve been waiting for to get off cursor back to neovim This is awesome

Claude code has a similar feature like this for editing plan files. But this is even sicker

tab completion with extra steps

looks good!

dillon just flexing his new keyboard switches

Is the agent aware of the modifications that you make and thus can steer itself in subsequent turns based on what/why you changed something?

@ragnsan_

Sick! Would you be open to sharing it? Also, I bought a ZSA keyboard because of one of your Vim videos on yt!

@ragnsan_

Link please

beautiful

@eth1c_23

This is literally what Antigravity and every other thing was missing that was in Cursor that made me stay on Cursor. Being able to jump to a particular line and then make changes there is underrated

what’s your wpm speed 👀😛

aah i need 20 more wpm🥰 and little effect drops and i can become dillon

nice! this is actually the reason i still use claude code over opencode. is that just through agents rules or what?

Hey guys I made the cursor/BS-code feature. We are truly regressing if we feel this is a good idea

Wonder how difficult would be to extend to review on a diff tool. Great job dude I was waiting for this 🥳

Is this merged? @dillon_mulroy

That's cool. Hopefully it gets merged. That keyboard is so satisfying.

just use @zeddotdev

it is possible to dom something a bit similar with claude code and even use your ide key bindings but i think the dx isn't as nice as this. would love this feature @trq212

wait the "before/as" part is genius - catching it mid-flight instead of after the fact. does it pause for your edits or just let you race the AI?

give it to me now please.

Repo link?

I saw you have permission required for that tool so will it ask you for permission on anything that updates the readme or permission to make any updates? I can see that slowing down things down a bit

The one thing keeping me in Claude code repo link?

Does it feed that back into the agent as well? Just sending another message saying: “edited this to this”?
