I wanted a way to explore Unicode by visual similarity, not just by name or codepoint, so I built Charcutrie. It lets you browse characters that look alike, search across scripts and symbols, and even sketch a shape to find matching glyphs. (pretty badly for now :D)

This website literally finds movie clips from the words you type. It’s called Yarn. If you edit videos, you know the pain of needing a character saying “are you serious?” and spending forever looking for the right scene. Yarn lets you search dialogue across movies, TV shows, and music videos. Here's how to use this: > Type a word or phrase. > Browse the matching clips. > Preview how each character says it. > Pick the moment that fits your edit. You can explore the dialogue before and after a clip for more context. Your next punchline might already exist in a movie. Now you have somewhere to look. This website tool saved my ass so many times. Its just so good.

So you can just give it a postgres URL (or sqlite db file) and it will just... explore it and offer to build things. Even with a crazy nonstandard (from Ecto perspective) database. The search bar crashed, I sent the logs to the agent, and boom realtime searching

I LOVE SOULSEEK. So I built a modern client and if you love soulseek and want to use it I'd love to share it with you. You can watch this video to get a quick feel but it's designed to be lightweight/simple and easy to browse users collections.
