I’m an electrician and this is done because if the building is hit with lightning it will be grounded straight to the Earth.

Ground wire for a lighting rod. In Teslas diagrams for the radiant energy, the upper portion had an enormous surface area. Maybe if the fella makes a video of a giant 18th century ferrous balloon and a wire?

Well that’s embarrassing showing your lack of education to the massives. They teach electrical circuits from a very young age in schools now! My 2 bedroom semi detached house has this fitted in case of lightning strikes.
