I was doxxed whiled using Vtube Studio! And this is how you can avoid this happening to you!

I'm so glad this is getting out there and reaching vtubers! Heres other info: Yes! I was using sprout. It does hide menus but not Webitems. No! My Vtube studio WAS minimized on another screen. Yes! The file was in a file within a file and that first file was a Pdf of a receipt.

Sorry this happened to you 🙏 And glad to hear you're safe. Like you've suggested, I'm gonna add an optional warning window shown when a file is dragged in. You'll be able to turn it on/off. You'll also be able to exclude individual file extensions from being loaded by VTS.

Such a well done video, especially in the end too not blaming really anyone. I agree too! Maybe not forcing it either. But an option you can toggle on or off to have that window pop up would be nice if people wanted it. Quality of life! I'm glad you're safe, and great advice!💙

Exactly! Its not something you can toggle. A programmer even looking into the files to see if you could remove it. A toggle would be best for sure! And thank you!!!

I would like this, but what I did was make a second and third user for the difference of me the person, me the streamer, and the streamer as a business. it sucks... Only way I can make this track for me though.

You gotta find what works for you! I litterally have 3 pcs in 3 locations due to work but I stream on 2 of them!
