Still not the worst I’ve ever seen. Doomsday seriously made me angry, that’s how badly it was edited. There was one scene that just had somebody walk into a room, go down a set of stairs, and walk across the room- over 30 cuts. And this was the guy that directed The Descent. 😵‍💫

This is some of the best editing of any film ever in the past decade and the fact you think “rapid cutting = bad” like some CinemaSins type shit shows a severe misunderstanding of context sensitivity and experimentation in film

I genuinely think this is good or at least better than the boring shit you'd expect from the calibre of whatever slop movie this is. At least this is camp and entertaining and has a certain style.

Honest opinion that the Resident Evil films are garbage/but fun films, but from Retribution and final chapter are actual unwatchable movies cause of the editing. The first 3 were silly takes of the games but the quality shot down a lot after 4.
