Van Jones: “The man who stabbed Iryna Zarutska was hurting … hurt people hurt people.” Sorry but this is bullshit. Would he talk like this about Derek Chauvin? Of course not. This is just bullshit. Why would you talk like this about someone who just stabbed a random woman to death for literally no reason? I don’t really care if he was “hurting” when he did that. Literally nobody cares. There is no level of “hurt” that ever justifies randomly stabbing people to death on trains. This is just suicidal levels of empathy.

I just went to Cobham to get my kids some toys and went into a shop called FARRANTS There is a MASSIVE picture that is pride of place at the point of payment. It is an image of black men, broken black men at a tobacco plantation with their overseers next to them?!?! I kid you not! This is in a family store, this imagery is massive triggering and racist. And there is no conceivable reason it should be there! I’m so thankful I wasn’t with my girls. How on earth could anyone have shopped there and found that image acceptable. This is exhausting and damaging to many people.

Every Saturday morning, he would mow our lawn, and then without anyone asking him to, he would go next door and mow our neighbor's lawn because she was a widow. My dad never talked about it — he just did it, because that's what a man does. A man takes responsibility, upholds his commitments to his family and his neighbors, and does what's right, even when no one is watching. Here's what real men don't do. I welcome this debate about what it means to be a man, and I don't think Ken Paxton or Ted Cruz are in a position to tell anybody what a real man is.

Woke up to devastating news of a mass casualty event in Beer Sheva as a result of an Iranian ballistic missile directly hitting a building while civilians slept in their beds. I don’t want to share numbers because sadly, they are not final. But it’s bad. There is talk about a ceasefire with Iran. I have no idea what that’s about but the regime will pay for this crime against humanity. I watch this child sing and pour out his heart and my heart bleeds. I wanted to share this moment with the Barbz 3 years ago June 22nd 2023. My husband donated a kidney so that I could receive a living donor match with my blood type, I was on dialysis for 2 1/2 years almost a year after I had my son. I’m so happy to be here and appreciate everything God has given me. Going through what I went through showed me a lot about people, family and friends. It made me stronger and more confident to go harder in speaking up and following my heart. 💞
