This is so funny because my mom brought up how my son looks zombified when watching tv today and I told her about the section from your book!

Thanks 4 reminder. Takes courage. I was a sky diver pre kids. I had “mastered” my fear. Gottdam I was wrong. The stakes seem so high, but I’m reminded fear not = indicator of deep truth or insight into causation or future outcomes. Trust in the human capacity is critical.

I've heard Seinfeld on stage joking about his parents role in his childhood. Long story short, he had a lot of autonomy.

Great point. My 5 yo's sentence structure, phrases, and tonality are advanced. She watches a decent amount of Netflix cartoons and shows. It's hard to watch her face when she is fully absorbed, but it's hard to argue she isn't learning a lot from the shows. And I know personally, after listening to hours of great speakers on podcasts, that my speaking skills greatly improved.

Learning does not always look like studying, that’s what I’m learning for the past two months after reading your book 🤣
