“I was like, this is so good. I need multiple listening sessions with this one album! Because of the music, without even looking at the lyrics. Just listening to the sound and the production, and melodies, and how all these instruments come together.” Lea Salonga about #RPWP.

250903 MBC 📻 steven's tmi: he likes classical music 🦊: the reason i said this is because sometimes when i listen to songs, the lyrics kind of sound noisy. but when listening only to the instrumental, it somehow feels like there isn't emotion, so at that time, listening to classical music is just right. because feeling emotions without lyrics is kind of a little fun, and it’s also fun to slightly feel what kind of story it is. i think i often enjoy listening to it. it’s a bit like with movies and books because when you read a book, you have to imagine, so i think it feels kind of like that~ #AHOF #아홉 #STEVEN #스티븐 #STVN

NZIRA DZEMASOJA-Monolised: I grew up listening to this song on the radio and was always curious how it would sound with instruments, so I monolised it.

Harry on how the album should be listened to “[…] And it became really obvious that it was music that was meant to be played and played loud. So I think everyone's different. The experience is the way that they like to experience music. Like I love listening to it alone in my car. I love listening to music with friends, and I think the album is you can have very different, uh, kind of journeys with it depending on how you listen to it. I love listening to it, like sitting still in headphones and listening to it that way. I love listening to it driving. I love being with friends.” - 102,7 KIIS FM

mark about ‘Journey Mercies’: “i don’t wanna sound too egotistical but like, i looked at the lyrics that i wrote and i was just obsessed. i was just like, “this is too good”, “this is so like, sentimental”, and “wow like.. i wrote this”, it was one of those moments” 😭😭😭

Tyler, The Creator explains how the negative reception of the album ‘CHERRY BOMB’ helped him mature his understanding of music: “So I'm like: “hold on”. I took a step back. I was like: “What's the disconnect here?”. Because these bridges are insane. This these chords are crazy. This these melodies are crazy. So I had to take a timeout and be like, okay, what's the disconnect? [...] So because of that, I went back and was like: “I need to re-teach myself how to write songs”. I need to actually sit... What is a hook? What is a chorus? What is structure? What's the outro?”

As requested, here is a magical trio of: Drumming snipe and crexing Corncrake, complimented by the beautiful melodies of several skylark. I lay down in the twilight and thought about how lucky I was to be there alone listening to this. It was cold, but calm and just so pure.

the angle is bad but I was telling Han how thankful I am for their music and how he never gives up and how he has come so far and at the end he was like 'I really like enjoy hearing this, you also have a really nice voice, I like listening to it' and I died a little 🥲

Park Hyoshin speaks about collaborating with Taehyung and about the recording experience for Winter Ahead 👤We are listening to Winter Ahead right now. PHS: What great timing. 👤Actually, the two of you are not people who collaborate that easily. But I remember it naturally happened as the two of you got close together? Am I right? PHS: Right, we just met without any intentions. I never expected to talk about music so much with Taehyung, since we have a difference in age. V-ssi is so much younger. I already served in the military so long ago so I decided to admit it. *laughs* But this friend, he has so many things to communicate about music, he has a lot of things to say about music. So even when we drink some alcohol or meet somewhere casually, we just naturally end up talking about music. And because of this, the talk about working together came up quite naturally. At first it wasn’t like “let’s sing together”~ when taehyung was preparing his solo album, he said “Hyung, it’ll be nice to try it with you.”, sort of like seeking advice. And since I like writing melodies, I gave some advice and as I was giving advice, it progressed like this. So we were like “let’s sing together” +

An army shared their story of how Blue & Grey by Taehyung gave them strength to go on! 👤 The tattoo says ‘where's my angel?’, which is the first line of the song Blue and Grey by BTS. And the reason why I got it is because I was going through a mental breakdown. And then at 4 in the morning, I was listening to BTS, and this is like three weeks into me being a fan of BTS. Then I read the lyrics, and it was the first time I ever heard the song ever in life. And then I read the lyrics, and then this lyric really stuck out to me, so I put it on my chest, under my collarbone. So that's what my tattoo says, it's just a lyric from Blue and Grey because that song means a lot to me. So thank you, Mr. Kim Taehyung, for writing it, because you really saved my life with that one. So I've been good. ( Taehyung’s songs and lyrics have given so many of us comfort. Thank you so much.
