I was never the same after this opening scene.

This was my introduction to Tron. I wasn’t young enough to catch the one from the 80’s. I’m a huge fan of the 2nd and 3rd film, might need to go back and catch the original that started it all!

Instant chills when Daft Punk kicks in. The movie and the soundtrack together…

That fucking Drop got me like

Flynn lives.

The original TRON film was fantastic .. but this .. this was pure AURA in its finest form. I could honestly watch this from start to finish and over again and still be completely entertained.

Rad Music . . . Daft Punk nailed the vibe NIN, with Ares, didn’t do it for me - their music was off, it didn’t mesh or add to the movie. It was like a statement, “This is NIN” Usually Trent & Atticus absolutely nail it, was actually surprised

I ended up listening to the Tron 2 Soundtrack on loop for two months straight on trips across Ireland.

Nobody does it like Daft Punk, nobody. Literally one of the greatest openings to film.

@firstshowing Seeing this in IMAX 3D last year was transcendent.

i have seen people say "quorra woked something inside" guess it 'changed their life'.

You know you’re in for a great adventure the moment the monologue ends, you see those big letters glowing between the skyscrapers, and that swelling leitmotif from Daft Punk that plays as the camera flies from the city to the house on the other side of the harbor.

Try this on for size...

Same here. There's only a handful of movies that utterly and irrevocably changed my brain chemistry, this is one of them

@PlanlikeaSound

I feel like half of Tron Ares' marketing was "we have Nine Inch Nails!" but like...Ok? When they advertised this movie they advertised the movie and then let Daft Punk explode our ears with a digitally divine soundtrack we really didn't deserve.

100%

that “i got in” MANNNN FUUCK

Tron Legacy it's a perfect movie. I wouldn't change anything.

Life changing. Utterly mesmerizing intro

Imagine watching that intro in IMAX

The soundtrack still gives me the chills to this day…
