🧸 i was preparing for finals when i got casted by bighit so when i got casted, rather than the joy of getting casted, the sense of freedom that came with having to not study to prepare for the audition brought me a lot of happiness 🧸 so i...

🧸 my dream wasn’t actually to be an idol 🧸 i wasn’t studying particularly hard either… i liked playing guitar, but not enough to pursue it as a major… i was the kind of student who liked playing the guitar just as a hobby….so you know how around 8th or 9th grade when you think a lot about your future path…i was really thinking a lot over how my life was going to turn out. and right around that time, i got invited to a performance at an arts high school through my band and i ended up getting scouted at the celebratory concert 🧸 i got cast at mystic & bighit and i actually wanted to go to mystic because i really loved playing the guitar so i was like “dad, i don’t even know what company bighit is…” because this was before the (bts) hyungs became big so i was like “i want to go to mystic” and my dad was like “beomgyu, you’ve practiced the guitar really hard and although you can’t dance…what if you joined bighit, worked really hard and became the center of a part?” and since i was an attention seeker back then 👤 everyone is like that when they’re young 🧸 yeah, i really loved getting attention so i was like “okay! i’ll practice hard and give becoming a center at bighit a go!” so i sealed the deal with bighit and on my way to seoul, the song ‘blood, sweat and tears’ by the hyungs blew up 🧸 that’s when ‘bighit’ started getting really big and since i became a part of the debut line up as soon as i joined…i practiced like crazy and debuted 👤 your dad made the perfect judgement for his son and opened up the way for you 🧸 that’s right, i was really glad even with just the fact that he trusted me and sent me to seoul by myself

txt trainee stories: when taehyun had to get surgery for pneumothorax 🐿️ it was like that when i got pneumothorax too; i could barely breathe but when i went to the hospital i felt okay 🧸 that’s something that’s very serious too 🐿️ yeah, i almost died back then 🐿️ but i felt okay so i was like “i’m okay, i wonder if i can leave now” but the doctor said that they could immediately get me into surgery the next day so i was like “HUH?” 🧸 pneumothorax is very serious 🐿️ this is from when we were trainees 🐿️ so i called the rookie development team member and went “noona…they’re saying i need to get surgery” 😭😭😭 🧸 now that it’s passed, we can laugh while talking about it while 🐿️ back then, more than how much it hurt…i was just coughing after every word, i was like 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 🧸 😭😭😭 🐿️ and it was a video evaluation so i couldn’t sing, as soon as i sang the first verse, i kept coughing 🐿️ so i said “noona, i think i need to get medicine for this” and she went “okay taehyun~ go and come back~” 🧸 did you think it was a simple cough? 🐿️ i just thought it was a really bad cold 🧸 did you know it was pneumothorax? 🐿️ not at all 🧸 right? 🐿️ i went and got tested for a lot of things and all the results were normal but the x-ray showed that there was something 🐿️ they suddenly asked me about my guardian and i didn’t know if i had to tell the rookie development team noona or my mom 🐿️ and i was like “hmmm” and because i was thinking, they just asked me to give them my mother’s number 🐿️ so i called her and they hadn’t told me what was wrong yet either, they just asked me about my guardian so i called my mom and gave it to them 🐿️ and they were like “we need to send your son to the emergency room right now” 🐿️ and i was like “???? question mark???” 🐿️ my mom was probably more shocked than me 🧸 right?

💬 i’m an intp, intensity level 5 pls: i have an exam next week but i really don’t want to study 🧸 intp…so that’s a realistic person but also someone with a big imagination 🐿️ yes and they asked for intensity level 5 🐿️ they’re basically asking for us to tell them to get it together, right? 🐿️ people that are T would say…don’t do it then. 🧸 if you don’t want to do it, don’t do it. it’s your exam anyway, it doesn’t really have anything to do with me. 🐿️ exactly, everyone’s going to work hard but if you’re saying you’re not going to do it… 🧸 the fact that even as you’re watching this live, your competitors are studying 🐿️ 😭😭😭 …exactly. 🧸 in the time that someone is taking a step or two ahead, you’re taking a step back…just don’t study. 🐿️ while you’re dreaming, other people are achieving their dreams. 🧸 but…them saying they want intensity level 5 means they’re asking us to make them study 🐿️ that’s right 🧸 go study quickly!!! 🐿️ i believe that studying is closely related to your future path 🧸 that’s right 🐿️ to be honest, i think that if it has nothing to do with studying, you don’t have to study but you have an exam and if you need to get good results on your exam in order to take a step forward on your future path…you’ve already come up with a decision but just not executing is a stupid thing to do 🧸 that’s right 🐿️ you’ve already figured out your route like you just need to do it…but you’re not walking down it…that… 🧸 that just means you don’t want to do it 🧸 leaving aside intensity level 5 and mbti…although, studying is not the answer to life… 🐿️ of course 🧸 there are a lot of paths that open up to you when you study 🐿️ there are a lot 🧸 if the future career path you’ve decided on is related to studying, you have to hurry up and do it 🐿️ no matter what 🐿️ use all the emotions as driving forces, i think that was my key…anger was my driving force, joy was my driving force, sadness was my driving force 🧸 that’s right, that’s right
