This MMA teacher is being criticized for his methods of teaching. While others are praising him for toughening up their kids. This MMA teacher is being criticized for his methods of teaching. While others are praising him for toughening up their kids. I don’t think he’s doing anything wrong, I think he’s doing it in a controlled manner and at no point is anybody upset about this. Even the child was happy with a sense of accomplishment when he was done. It definitely gave him bragging rights. I was doing my kata, it was afterschool and I was so tired already, I also didn’t get a chance to eat lunch that day and was feeling the effects of that. I wasn’t as sharp or quick as I normally was. I also forget a few of the motions in the routine as well. I remember it to this day, every time my arms weren’t where they were supposed to be, I got hit by a piece of bamboo, when my feet weren’t where they were supposed to be, got a strike to the leg. I wasn’t allowed to complain or wince or they would strike again. It made me focused no matter how I was feeling that day.
