Personal journey or not, @Ed_Miliband is the Foreign Secretary, not a memoirist. Foreign policy should be based on a coherent national strategy, evidence & consistency - not suddenly framed around one minister’s personal identity after years of the same party maintaining arms exports & defence ties with Israel! That’s why this all feels so performative. @UKLabour spent years making one set of decisions, then the political mood shifted & suddenly we get sanctions, speeches about conscience & “personal journeys.” If this is principle, explain the strategy. If it’s policy, explain the end goal. Otherwise it just looks like another attempt to rebrand continuity as moral leadership!
