I was like, ‘Why is Hunter calling me? Did I do something wrong?’ We had a good conversation. The main thing I took away from it was that he kind of felt like maybe I didn’t want to be with the UFC. I told him I’d hope to retire with the company. I’m just happy to be here, man—one fight at a time. When it’s all said and done, I’d love to have my last dance with the UFC. [The contract] is for five to six fights."
