I wont mind living close to train station. You get used to the train noise. Its a far better thing to hear trains than traffic noise.

Isn’t that a monorail? Kind of cheating IMO since their structures obstruct the view a lot less than conventional elevated rail. That said, I agree that elevated rail is perfectly fine, and even better than subways in many ways.

I really think it depends. Building proximity is a big one. Having a train right next to your house every 2-10 minutes is not good and the bridges that are built often block sunlight from reaching the interior of houses and the street below.
