@MrWinMarshall An arctic route from China to Europe is only seasonably feasible. Greenland can be a key strategic chokepoint w/o US owning it. It can work within the NATO framework to do so. So long as the Chinese do not get network of ports, they'll remain a regional Navy.

Nice, succinct explanation Melissa! She doesn’t explicitly say this here but mastering logistics is what created and cont.s to maintain America’s military superiority. Something else alluded to re: the public’s perception of their own understanding of geopolitics. As with business, you make decisions on the #s, not the flashy brochure. We have to be extra careful in separating fact from the overly crafted editorials & understand that not all information is created equal. There’s a very simple reason why so much of today’s messaging is designed to elicit your most vulnerable emotions.
