I wasn’t expecting so much depth from these two characters. You immediately get a feel for the kind of person Nanoha is, and then you meet Fate, who seems like her complete opposite. Fate does things simply because she’s told to, because she was only a puppet to her... “mother.” Yet Nanoha saw through that without even knowing her full story. It wasn’t just that she saw beauty in Fate’s eyes, she also saw the sadness behind them, and she wanted to save her. Nanoha never sees anyone as a bad person. She doesn’t judge based on assumptions. She’ll even break the rules if it means finding the truth. I love how free spirited she is and how she always does what she believes is right, huge credit goes to her parenting. She’s blessed with a warm, loving family who raised her well, unlike Fate, who was essentially a mirror image of someone else. Fate was never truly seen as a child, she did whatever she could to be acknowledged as a daughter. She had been alone this whole time… but not for much longer. She found someone special who saved her. And the next time the moment calls for it, Fate will return the favor and save Nanoha too because she's someone very important to her now.show more

I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. She lived her life, fell in love, went out, made choices and no one questioned her, no one controlled her. And then what did she do? She found out that her man was engaged to another woman before marrying her (and even saw him marry her) and instead of holding on to her dignity, she chose to stay, to fight for a man who lied to her, to hold onto a marriage he tried to end multiple times. She used her unborn child to keep him tied to her. She lied constantly, and her excuse was that she was “protecting her marriage” a marriage that was already broken from the moment Serhat removed that ring at the airport in episode one. She tried to hand Yıldız (a woman who had already suffered enough) over to dangerous people. Then she found out the truth about her own birth (that her father ra*ped her mother.)And still no empathy. No moment of humanity toward her own mother. All she cared about was herself. And even though none of this had anything to do with Yıldız, she still found a way to blame it on her. Instead of holding her father accountable, she went and made a deal with him to get rid of Yıldız. She literally made a deal with the devil just to hurt Yıldız one more time. And after all of that… you want me to feel sorry for her? You want me to call her a victim? I honestly cannot believe we are living on the same planet with people who see this and still say, “she’s the victim.” Not morally. Not logically. Not emotionally. I love how, in the same movie, they show how ridiculously strong Nanoha is, but at the same time they show how much she holds back because she doesn't want to hurt people who are already suffering. That's why she forged her magic into a weapon that doesn't kill, instead, it acts like a spear that penetrates all the barriers people put up to hide their pain. Nanoha's magic searches for broken hearts and tries to reach out to them. But there are times when her methods don't work, and that's where Fate comes in. She not only protects Nanoha but also protects Nanoha's ideal of helping others. Fate knows that if she wants to build a world where everyone can live happily and grow up in a safe environment, she can't do it without Nanoha. So this moment of them backing each other up really hits home for me.

Ren Susu, to me, is like a candle in a dark room. She was never afraid of giving people warmth, even if every act of kindness meant another piece of herself melted away. She spent so much of her life becoming light for others that she never noticed she was slowly disappearing. By the time everyone thank her for her glow, there was barely anything left of her. Love, happiness, and peace all feel temporary to her, as though they were never meant to belong in her life for long. So instead of waiting for fate to take them away, she lets go first. It isn’t because she doesn’t love deeply. It’s because she believes the people she loves would be safer without her. She is brave. She has never hesitated to do what she believes is right, even when it demands impossible sacrifices. Like Qingyi, she has an incredibly strong sense of justice, and she spends much of her life living for other people too. The difference is that Qingyi learned to give because he believed love had to be earned, while Susu learned to sacrifice because she believed her own happiness always came at someone else’s expense. She doesn’t put herself last because she is naturally selfless. She does it because she no longer believes she should come first. When she learns that Qingyi’s tendons were severed by the Huo family. She quietly asks herself, “What if, back then, I had pretended not to know you?” I think that single line tells us everything about how her mind works. There are endless what ifs inside her head. Little by little, those questions begin to erase the person she used to be because she genuinely believes that every tragedy suffered by the people she loves somehow starts with her. When something terrible happens, most of us instinctively ask, “Who did this?” Susu asks something entirely different, “What if I hadn’t done this?” She doesn’t look outward for someone to blame. She turns inward first. Every accident becomes her responsibility, every loss becomes evidence that she should have made a different choice, and every sacrifice someone makes for her becomes another reason to believe she only brings misfortune into other people’s lives. That’s why she keeps pushing Qingyi away. It was never because she didn’t love him. She loved him too much. She simply believed that loving her meant suffering because of her. In her eyes, she is a burden. A jinx. Someone whose existence inevitably invites tragedy. How could she allow the person she loves to stay beside her when she truly believes staying will only destroy him? Susu carries guilt in a way that borders on unbearable. It feels like survivor’s guilt taken to its absolute extreme. I think she became this way after earning the title White Devil and Ace of Aces and taking on the role of training the next generation of mages. This game never fails to make me cry. Dorothy never wanted revenge. She just wanted somebody to recognize her sacrifices for the Ark. She was heartbroken because she was abandoned. Her friends moved on, and she couldn’t. That's ok! It just shows how human she is, and how being so human brings out all of her flaws so naturally that it hits perfectly. She just needed headpats and praise. When I first read Ark Guardian, I saw all of her struggles. She was keeping it all together as the leader of the squad, and losing all of her precious people one by one broke her. The wound the Ark gave her was the last straw. I’m so happy I never lost faith in her. I knew she wasn’t meant to be a bad person, she’s a hero and will always be one. This chapter was so emotional as fuck. BURNINGUM IS THE TRUE MVP HERE.

Candace claims everyone critiquing her—from Steven Crowder to Allie Beth—was panicking because she found the Egyptian planes. This woman is insane. No one is panicking because she found the Egyptian planes. We’re just critiquing her because there’s a great deal of material with which to work. I think the Egyptian plane connection is unhinged and laughable, and I promise I’m not panicking. 😂 She also claims her book club being infiltrated was connected to this supposed “panic” over the Egyptian planes, and so “undercover operatives” were sent to record her book club. Who sent the “undercover operatives”? How does she know it wasn’t just one person who was already in the book club and was floored by what she said? Or a single person who yeah doesn’t like her and so decided to sign up behind her paywall to see what else they could hear? How does she know this was part of a conspiracy? What evidence does she have? Again, she’s a huge public figure; criticism and negative commentary comes with the territory. So how come every time it happens to her, it’s a “conspiracy”?

Temi Nkem’s diary session showed just how much this week has meant to her. She said she feels good and believes she deserves to stay in the house because she’s someone who will always stand up for what she believes is right and wrong. Whether she can afford it or not isn’t the same as when she said she doesn’t have money for it. Maybe she’s on a budget and while she could pay for it , she doesn’t want to waste her money on trivial things when there is more important things she could be paying for. It’s ok to say no to your kids, do you think the person recording was trying to shame her assuming she was broke?

Akane may be a god, but she acts like a child who loves playing house with her friends. Instead of friends, though, she plays alone with characters she created solely to be her playthings. This was supposed to be her perfect world, but ever since Gridman showed up, it's falling apart, and nobody acts the way she expects. Even a kaiju turned human, and she just let him be because she’s come to realize there are things even a god can’t control, like the change in one’s heart and feelings. She can’t control that, and it’s breaking her apart. I think it’s time she realizes that even she’s changing. She’s not alone anymore, and she doesn’t need to be some god, she just needs to be as normal as anyone else. I wonder if she’ll wake up from her own dream. I hope she doesn’t hurt herself further. Like Anti, she needs hugs and kisses too. I can’t bring myself to hate her.

The woman recording went to this store to shop, when she got close to the register she was confronted by one of the workers who saw she has keloids on her skin and confused it with monkeypox. The worker then refused her service and told her she had to leave. The woman was upset and explained to her that no she doesn’t have monkeypox it’s just keloids. The worker acknowledges she made a mistake and apologizes, however she still is refusing to serve her and asks her to leave, she even calls a manager who tells her to call security. It’s understandable if she thought she had a contagious disease but once that was cleared up shouldn’t she had just rang her up and let her go on with her day?

Even during her first journey, her entire party consisted of men who were a bunch of goofballs, yet they always had her back, even in her sleep. Because of that, she could sleep as much as she wanted. She became spoiled in that way, constantly adored and protected by those around her. Fern, however, doesn’t feel the same way. She’s not Frieren. It’s not that she doesn’t trust Stark with her life, she does, but magic has always been the one thing that made her feel truly reliable and strong. Suddenly being unable to sense her magic must feel deeply unsettling and new to her. Still, I love how Stark looked at her and simply said, “I’m here.” It was quite romantic.

This has always confused me. She tributes to Her dad about never giving up on her and her mom for being her strength in her high school yearbook post. But yet she always says her dad left her after the divorce and her she never had a strong female figure. She said her grandmother on her deathbed asked her to forgive her mom. She said her grandfather was the only male in her life. And she was kicked out at 14. Had to live with a boyfriend and pay for herself. So is she lying about her childhood? Why didn’t she say thank you to her grandfather she says raised her and taught her everything about being who she is? Does it seem weird to you or am I just being a Candace and reading too much into this? How does she say it? It’s not sending me the right vibes.
