I went down a rabbit hole reading #Reddit threads where physicians talk about their patients — especially those with ME/#CFS, #POTS, and complex autonomic disorders. Some of what’s being said goes beyond frustration — it reflects a deep lack of understanding and compassion.

"Most of the people I've seen with #MECFS are so much sicker than my cancer patients." Dr. Fridbjörn Sigurdsson, a former medical oncologist now focused on ME/CFS, speaking at the 2025 Invest in ME conference. I was at a party talking to a woman and suddenly had a sexual thought about her. It completely shocked me and honestly disturbed me, especially because of my own trauma history. In this clip, I talk with sex therapist Jessica Levith about that moment and how understanding sexual fluidity and context helped me make sense of it.
