flying non-rev is a different category per se. you are representing the airline and it is a great perk. this has been a standard since I worked for Piedmont Airlines in the 80s.

Sorry, the sheer amount of jiggling wobbling bulging barely restrained tons of human blubber we've seen perilously threatening to explode out of leggings makes this dress code rule 100% understandable & frankly appreciated by us. We only wore leggings in Girls Modern Dance! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

My dad worked for Delta and we were required dressed respectfully and appropriately when flying on a pass because we are representing the airline. There is NOTHING wrong with this and they knew that before they got on the flight.
