In 1980, we had one regulator for every 11,000 people working in financial services. Today, it's closer to one regulator for every *75* people. Bureaucrats always create more rules and always work to expand their powers. The idea that we can "regulate for growth" is ludicrous.

The wealth of a people is the source of their pride as people who work and produce. A government must provide the infrastructure to build industry, markets and good prices for meat and milk. But what DOGE is doing -- taking a chainsaw to our federal workforce with no real strategy and just making a show of slashing and burning down the bureaucracy -- not only makes NO sense but it actually HURTS Americans. It makes us less safe and less healthy. It drains our federal workforce of valuable workers with DEEP experience that make government serve you BETTER.
