I just wish there was some way to help her 😭

@UTMDAnderson Shame on the entire system. Americans are largely just marks in a giant grift. This woman is being completely dehumanized. We all can see it. Don't look away.

@UTMDAnderson It is dehumanizing & stupid, as she says. What do you mean, but no contract?!! F F F

@UTMDAnderson We live like this way because our government has systematically stripped the middle class of all wealth. $50 Trillion dollars have gone from the middle class to the .001% in the last 50 years. United Healthcare's CEO made $61 million in 2025.

@UTMDAnderson But, but, but…..this is a Christian nation.

@UTMDAnderson Why do they keep trying to scare us about Medicare for All when we already can’t see who we want when we want and certainly can’t afford it.

@UTMDAnderson You know anything more about her?

@UTMDAnderson I don't know her personally, I watch her Tiktok videos cause they pay creators based on views so it helps her pay for her cancer treatment. She has her contact info there, I could send you her links/email if you'd like.

@UTMDAnderson Can’t look up her tiktok at the moment, but is she in Houston already? Does she ever name the deadbeat insurer?

@UTMDAnderson I think she might live in central Texas and no I havent heard her name the insurer

@UTMDAnderson I found her tiktok but couldn’t find the first video you shared. Are we sure she didn’t get it resolved by now? There was a similarly dressed one but a bit older.

@UTMDAnderson How long before everyone realizes it’s all a scam?

@UTMDAnderson I had a extended relative in the same situation was a tennis instructor and could no longer work due to having cancer and was denied Texas Medicaid and had to wait ssdi insurance to kick in which was a death sentence took to long to get treatment and died.

@UTMDAnderson This what happens when you have a for-profit health care system that you then allow to regulate itself

@UTMDAnderson This is very sad. There has to be a way to help this young lady. Insurance is such a scam.

@UTMDAnderson This is heartbreaking ❤️🩹

@UTMDAnderson Apply for social security disability and you’ll qualify for Medicaid while you wait for a determination. If you get denied, appeal and get a lawyer.

@UTMDAnderson

@UTMDAnderson She needs to start saying some racist shit online then maga will throw $500k at her gofundme

@HOUmanitarian @UTMDAnderson And It’s a public hospital. University of Texas system. State school. I do know that nonprofit (but not state) hospital system Memorial Hermann has had several occasions when they did not have a contract with Blue Criss Blue Shield. Gap during negotiations

@UTMDAnderson I'm too German to understand this. I do not understand why so many people in the US do not vote for healthcare. Yes, I pay more taxes and into healthcare, but I will not just die because somebody making money will tell me no. And I'm good with everybody having healthcare.

@UTMDAnderson If the hospital is in the network than she can use it, but the hospital hasn’t agreed to insurance cost schedule (no contract). It is insurance scam!

@UTMDAnderson I call CareFirst BC/BS about denial of in-network claims and they go on about "Medicare crossover," "3 tier coverage," "migration to a new platform." Bitch, just pay my claim!!!!!!!

@UTMDAnderson Who on earth thinks moving to another country is the solution? Poor thing is facing what we all are facing with our healthcare system. My sister’s immunotherapy medicine costs 11,000 dollars a month. Without top tier insurance no one could afford that.

@UTMDAnderson Because Hillary was given a coronation in 2016. Or because Obama refused to find a way to close ranks on the public option at minimum during the passage of the ACA. Oh, and because Republicans want us dead unless we sell our labor for nothing & submit to abuse regardless.

@UTMDAnderson Same thing happened to my mom. MD Anderson wouldnt treat her. She had a Cancer that was extremely rare.

@UTMDAnderson She’s in Austin.. she’s had cancer since she was in her early 20s. Early breast cancer I believe. She’s in her mid 30s now. It’s been her entire adult life battling

@UTMDAnderson 30% or under vote in the primaries, usually 25% or under where we decide who we can vote for and then 50% of us show up in the general. I think that about explains it. For me, anyway.

@UTMDAnderson I still don’t understand the difference between “out of pocket” and “deductible” I’m already paying out of pocket for the insurance AND the deductible. What does that mean?

@UTMDAnderson They don’t want to see people covered under the ACA.

@stephtu0123 @UTMDAnderson Insurance is a scam & needs to be outlawed or severely reduced

@UTMDAnderson I hope she’s applied for SSD. Stage 4 breast cancer is on the compassionate list and is usually approved right away.

@UTMDAnderson Treat it own your own..

@MaxFlugrath @UTMDAnderson @EPotterMD has been fighting the good fight. Follow her and you may get some ideas. Good luck

@UTMDAnderson Try Obamacare

@UTMDAnderson Oh sweetie! I’m so so sorry. It shouldn’t be this way. It’s not supposed to be. I’m praying for you ❤️

@UTMDAnderson What the hell does “in network but not in contract” mean?? These fucking insurance companies deliberately come up with things to confuse their customers. And “customers” isn’t even the right word… “servants”? “Livestock”? “Profit centers”?

@UTMDAnderson seems very suspicious to me. She makes $20,000 a year but doesn’t qualify for Medicaid? She makes $20,000 a year but was going to fly to DC to meet with people? if I only made $20,000 a year, I would get another job. In my 20s, I was working three different jobs and going to col

@UTMDAnderson because sociopaths are in charge of pretty much everything (while most people struggle to keep their heads above water)
