I will never forget how I felt when this race started. For a second, I really thought Gatlin was gonna beat Bolt.

He should’ve. He started better but unfortunately, bolt always glides faster at the end.

Bruh! Gatlin always exploded out of the blocks, but he was too far ahead in this particular race. I can't lie, that shook me for a second.

Bolt always started slower than others on most races

This was his slowest finals time but maybe his second best achievement if not best. Becoming a 3 time back to back to back Olympic champ! 👑👑👑crown him King!

Gatlin got a good enough start... Bolt is a bit slow to begin… He's got some work to do… Gatlin's in front! Bolt's stretching out now… He's coming after him... HE'S IMMORTAL NOW!!

A washed bolt with 9.80s. Prime Lyles fastest 9.79

Bolt did Gatlin here. The presence of Bolt made Gatlin lose his form, and that's why he lost the race. Look at the replays

Thankfully the drugs cheat didn’t beat the greatest sprinter of all time

@sxdiqcarter_ Going to beat Bolt as how? You must be a casual athletics lover. Championship Bolt is unbeatable😂. The only times he’s ever been beaten at a major championship is pre-2008 and at his final race in 2017 You can beat him anywhere else, but he locks in during global championships

This is where he should have retired.

He's just unstoppable in that last half. When he hits top speed, no point in even trying

“He’s coming after him, he’s immortal now” has got to be one of the most underrated broadcast calls in history.

Look at where he is at the beginning of the race...he stole it at 80meters..Snatch and Grab

I’m ngl his name matched with the sport he did was so fire😂it’s like his parents knew this nigga was finna be mad speedy

Bolt always had a bad start but he is electric in the final 50 metres. This start was particularly bad. If you watch, he had to intensify his race in the last 10 metres.

Bolt ran 9.86 in the semi looking around and smiling. Gat was never gonna win.

Gatlin still started better but it looks like it's exaggerated by the angle

That’s the difference between acceleration and speed

First race I've ever watched and I really thought Gatlin was going to win

Imagine a quick start Bolt like Chris Coleman, Bolt will probably do a 9.20s in that 100m

Arguably the greatest athlete in history.

If Bolt had been a better starter he could have challenged 9 seconds. What a fking sprinter

Never doubted him any seconds

Acceleration, as important as initial speed.

Bolts the ultimate closer.

"he's immortal now"

@Ricky_hehehe @Ehidon12

Bolt ran so shit in this race but man those last 30m he glided

That’s because you don’t understand physics long legs vs short legs going at maximum speed velocity.

He’s immortal now !

Greatest of all time

What a race that was

Es que el final de Bolt es un escandalo, parece que le mete el nitro y parecía que no quedaban metros

You should see the 2015 race in Beijing

absolutely gorgeouss!!
