Maybe you are facing some kind of hardship right now. Maybe it’s a health scare. A marriage that’s falling apart. A financial situation that has you staring at the ceiling at 2 in the morning. I want you to know something — if you are a Christian, you are not alone. Not even close. God is with you. Jesus said it Himself — “I will never leave you or forsake you.” (Heb. 13:5) Now here’s what’s interesting. A more literal translation of that verse has Jesus saying, “I will never, no never, NO NEVER leave you or forsake you!” In the original Greek, it’s actually a triple negative for emphasis. You simply cannot say it stronger than that. Get the point? Now listen — I want to be straight with you. Following Jesus is not a guarantee that life will be easy. If you are genuinely seeking to obey the Lord, expect opposition. Expect obstacles. Expect difficulties. That’s just the reality. But here’s the other side of that coin — also expect God to show up. Also expect Him to make a way when there seems to be no way. The road of faith can be hard, but you do not walk it alone. God is not watching your struggle from a distance. He is right there in the middle of it with you — and He will see you through!

It won’t, not because those who were responsible for that dark past will not try again or are not even trying now again. It’s not because there are fewer people who wish for us to perish or who would have wished for this country to disappear. How can people accept that? What kind of people do not stand up and fight? There is a risk of dying when you stand up and fight but if you don’t, it’s a sure thing: you are going to die. So why don’t I try to stand up and fight with the chance that I might survive and live life as I want it, instead of giving up and you let people treat you as if for you to live, it is a favour that they are going to do for you. Dear Amy, There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of you. I love you more than words could ever say, and I’ve missed having you in my life in ways that are impossible to fully describe. I often wonder how different my life would be if you were still here with us, and I think about all the amazing things you would have done with your life. I miss your laugh, your smile, and the joy you brought into every room you walked into. Most of all, I miss the simple moments—like playing basketball in the driveway—when it was just you and me, laughing and competing like siblings do. I want you to know that everything I’ve done in my life has been with you in mind. Every decision I’ve made has been guided by what would make you most proud of me. I’ve lived my life trying to honor you, and I hope you know how deeply you are loved—not only by me, but by so many others who were touched by your light, your kindness, and your strength. Your presence is still felt by everyone who was lucky enough to know you. If you are out there and are somehow able to see this, please find a way to reach out, or give us a sign that you’re still with us. You don’t have to explain anything. I’ve just rewatched this video for a second time now 18 weeks later… This is unbelievably sad. In no way, shape, or form did this Orthodox gentleman explain the gospel of Jesus Christ. “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me HAS eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.” (John 5:24) Jesus cleanses us of all our sins and brings us from death into eternal life through his death and resurrection, not because we deserve it, but because of the great love with which he loved us. For some, this is hard to understand. “Jesus answered him, ‘What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.’ Peter said to him, ‘You shall never wash my feet.’ Jesus answered him, ‘If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.’” (John 13:7-8) Accept the gift of grace that God has given you in Christ Jesus through his death and resurrection, and you will be cleansed. You can have assurance. He’s offering it to you. ACCEPT IT! BELIEVE! The Christian life is not a selfish pursuit, constantly trying to save yourself or maintain your salvation. The Christian life is a life of assurance, constantly pursuing the salvation of the world. “If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you.” (John 13:14-15) Jesus lived a perfect life, not to save himself, but to serve and save those who would believe in him. We are now called to follow him in this way of living: a life of sacrificial love, NOT for our own sake, but for the sake of those who are weary and heavy laden. The gospel gives us the CONFIDENCE to do this! I know I am saved. I want you to know that you too can be saved if you believe.

I’ve just rewatched this video for a second time now 18 weeks later… This is unbelievably sad. In no way, shape, or form did this Orthodox gentleman explain the gospel of Jesus Christ. “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me HAS eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.” (John 5:24) Jesus cleanses us of all our sins and brings us from death into eternal life through his death and resurrection, not because we deserve it, but because of the great love with which he loved us. For some, this is hard to understand. “Jesus answered him, ‘What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.’ Peter said to him, ‘You shall never wash my feet.’ Jesus answered him, ‘If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.’” (John 13:7-8) Accept the gift of grace that God has given you in Christ Jesus through his death and resurrection, and you will be cleansed. You can have assurance. He’s offering it to you. ACCEPT IT! BELIEVE! The Christian life is not a selfish pursuit, constantly trying to save yourself or maintain your salvation. To anyone hearing this, the end of my video cut off but I wanted to tell you that repentance is a change of mind about who we are and who God is. He is Holy and we are sinners , all of us. There is no one good but God, we all sin and fall short. You don’t have to be who you are in your sin and that doesn’t define you when Christ can make you brand new, no matter what the world says you can be a new creation, your past can be washed away.. you can be a daughter (or son) of God if you put your trust in Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation.
