seriously one of the best horror games of all time i cannot stress it enough! the atmosphere in alien isolation is outstanding, they have big shoes to fill for the next game

I'm a giant Aliens fan but I hated Isolation. Boring, slow pace, only fun part was the end with the hive. And the UI was awful. Navigating the in game menu was horrific.

This sci fi aesthetic is called Cassette Futurism, Ark Raiders use it.

I'm obsessed with it purely because of the first alien movie. They knocked out the aesthetic, they had the perfect sound to match, and the practical effects are perfect. Ark did an amazing job with it too.

Alien Isolation. This was one of the 3 "You are being hunted" games I played around the same time. Alien Isolation Outlast SOMA All 3 were great games.

I just played through Routine; An awesome little indie retro sci-fi, analog horror inspired survival horror, with SCP vibes, somewhat hard puzzles, and some fucking outstanding sound design. It really filled the gap waiting for the sequel to Alien Isolation. Recommended.

Alien Isolation is still the most authentic and true to detail out of the entire Alien franchise. It’s a true masterpiece

Never played it, but just checked and it’s on sale for $7.49 on PS Store. Going to download it tomorrow.

Dark descent needs an adaptation

Juat finished my first run through and did it on nightmare mode. Took months to get through it all, one of the best story games ive ever played. Now onto the DLC content
