California will never be safe for Americans nor businesses. You’d have to wage a war to turn it around.

I’ve lived in CA for 40 years. Moved here as a teenager. You are absolutely correct in not wanting to move here until we get our shit together again. CA has the ability to be the greatest state in the US, but the politicians need to get out of the way and allow our natural advantages to be utilized.

You can hate California and still have politics that produce Californias Many, many such cases

Once Texas goes blue it will be just like Cali but without the nice weather.

Caleb is speaking facts and yet some people on the left will see this as right wing, that’s sad. Why do the liberals insist on being so performative? On the other note though, Caleb is seen as far left to the right wing.

California is more than downtown LA and SF. Plenty of extremely safe areas that are the most beautiful places on Earth

Glad Texas won your heart. Stay and build forever.

I grew up in Cali. 20+ years. The day I moved out was the 2nd happiest day of my life. I was on a motorcycle, riding to my new life and literally was criss-crossing between lanes (when no other vehicles were around) out of joy.

It's gotta feel terrible knowing that your tax money goes straight to endless fraud

I did move to California to be with the woman I eventually married. She is terrific, but she divorced me. I left SoCal and now can’t return for a bit while they finish their terrible taxation cases. I owe that state like $45,000 for now.

Being in CA for nearly 50 years, I'm ready to get the hell out. It has gone downhill greatly in the last ten years!

I would so love to live in California, but their political climate (very high corruption included!), taxes, and crime would make it pretty much unlivable.

just pointing out IOWA

Growing, don’t know why, but always wanted to visit Seattle. But after around 2016-2019, I would never step foot anywhere on the west coast.

Caleb is great, this is how all Americans should look at problems. We all care because we want it to be the best. Not just laugh and want to 'own the libs'.

Same. Best terrain, worst government.

California by so many measures should be the best place in the world, not being hyperbolic just based upon the natural beauty, the resources, the amount of money and all of the industry it should be the example for all other places to want to be like, but it’s a shit hole it’s been destroyed. Democrats have stolen all of that money literally trillions of dollars.

Say it's the Democrats fault without saying it's the Democrats fault

Amen.

California is a failed state

👆 This is it. And anyone who says otherwise either: -hasn’t lived there -isn’t informed -is politically brainwashed CA is the most beautiful state in the union and it’s been run like hell for decades by a one-party disaster.

You are 🎯. I don't blame you.

I’m from Texas and I love Texas and I would absolutely love to be in California but fuck me it’s so horrible I love Austin yet it’s depressing living here and watching our city fall apart It’s trashy dirty and falling apart So depressing Our beautiful city is no more

You’re such a fucking hack man

California is the greatest state in the nation, and it’s being destroyed by the worst people in the nation. Likely bought by foreign enemies.

Yeah you said it Caleb.

Wholeheartedly agreed. SoCal is the best area with the absolute worst politics

I feel the same about Minnesota

He's not wrong. 🫤

Man I can't like this enough. I've been offered a job or transfer in CA 3 different times. Turned them all down. I have kids. I'm not raising them there period. I want California to succeed. For exactly the same reasons. It's sad to see where it is now vs the 60s-90s.

Do we really need the vine booms here

wait, this dude is still in the closet? He's the most obvious homosexual

Orange County is nice and parts of LA county aren’t that bad. It is expensive though
