I will not be having breast screening..... I have always thought like this tbh, how can all that radiation & squashing be good for you? Just self exam & go from there, my opinion 🙏🏻

@Nelia23893053 Same I don't do any tests for anything. Still fit and healthier than those running for every test imaginable. I also believe in the power of thought, fearing breast cancer can actually manifest it in some people.

I have always thought that the method for breast screening must have been created by a man! These horrendous machines have been used for years and years. You have to think that in the technological age we live in now, why have they not developed a more safe and comfortable way?

I have no discernible lumps. Diagnosed via mammogram 3 weeks ago. Surgery next week. Hopefully caught early enough.

My Mum refused to be part of that whole cycle that women are meant to put themselves through, it really makes you wonder how many would later regret it knowing the risks I think of undergoing it

Good luck with that, my mammogram showed a very small tumour, never felt any lump, had a biopsy, it was in-situ cancerous cells, basically it was caught really early and dealt with, by the time I would have felt that it probably would have been too late, this was 25 yrs ago

Sadly I know 2 people that their tumours were found by breast screening. It’s an invaluable service in my opinion.

I have family history mamms have done for eight years a quick blast of radiation and a squished boob for two minutes once a year I'll take my chances
