When the police took Sonam Wangchuk from the CJP protest site to the hospital on the 21st day of his hunger strike, this video is from inside the hospital after that. Look at how he is walking with his hands in his pockets, arguing loudly with the police officers. He forcefully pushed the gate open. He looks just like a completely fit person. Before the police took him to the hospital, while Sonam Wangchuk was on a hunger strike at the CJP protest, he appeared very weak. I have spent the last 5 years bringing food to Holocaust survivors in New York. Most of them are alone, many widowed, and living below the poverty line. I sit with them over a meal, keep them company and listen to their story. It has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. This is David's story. David is a 99 year old Holocaust survivor. He was deported to Auschwitz with his family. Every single member of his family was murdered there. But David survived. He later moved to America. He met the love of his life and had 4 children. I ask him what he'd like to tell you at the end of this video and he says this, "I've never left Auschwitz. When I sleep, I am still there. They still run after me. They still want to kill me." At 99, he is still not finished there.

But Amit Shah and the Prime Minister don't have the courage to stand here." He further says, "For them to come here, it is an act of courage. It is not easy for them to come here. They are facing harrasment, violence, torture. I am very proud that they have the courage to speak so eloquently, so beautifully about what they are feeling. These are exactly the type of youngsters that this country needs. There are thousands and thousands of them and I am extremely proud of what they have done. The person who is responsible for this violence, the person who had the pellet gun fired into this young lady, is Amit Shah - the Home Minister of India. A lot of buzz about Blaire White today, and my initial reaction was what Jesus says: "There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance." - Luke 15:7 Totally justified to be skeptical in today's day and age where so many people grift off the Christian faith, but I still believe our initial reaction should be like the prodigal son's father, not the prodigal brother who was jealous of the father welcoming the rebellious son back home. We should be joyous whenever someone who was lost is now found, dead but now alive. But as you can see in this clip from his video, Blaire does not believe that he needs to detransition. He believes in the Gnostic heresy that the body and soul are separate, and he believes the core story of Jesus is that "He transcended flesh". He also rejects the necessity of going to church, affirms progressive Christian soteriology that there are different ways to God, and espouses a litany of other falsehoods in his video. Change and sanctification takes time. I've seen the power of Christ change the worst of people, I will always give people the benefit of the doubt in the beginning. Especially because I know how wretched I am and how Christ saved a sinner like me, and still to this day, I stumble and struggle with sin. But the end of the day, we will know them by their fruits. If his conversion is genuine, he will abandon his false gender identity and embrace his God-given design as a man. Let’s pray that he turns from his ways, he gets discipled by genuine believers, and gets plugged into a church that will preach the unadulterated truth.

I note Prime Minister Andrew Holness’s remarks in a TV interview this morning. Neither he nor his Party has made those proposals as part of the process of constitutional reform. His proposals are therefore not in the report of the Constitutional Reform Committee, and will not be in the new Constitution coming out of that process. Furthermore, Mr. Holness’s proposals are not in the existing Constitution, and would violate the existing Constitution. This is in keeping with his and his Government’s unfortunate history of past violations of the Constitution of Jamaica. It seems that the Prime Minister wants to make up a rule which is not part of the Constitution or laws of Jamaica, to suit his Party’s political fortune at a time when it is waning. He has no power and no authority to do that. He needs to tell the country why his statutory declarations to the Integrity Commission cannot be certified. I am compliant with the Constitution and laws of Jamaica, and I undertake to the People of Jamaica that I will continue to be so.
