Jonathan Accuses Kashim Shettima of Conspiracy in the Chibok Girls’ Abduction Goodluck Jonathan in his book, My Transition Hours writes about Kashim Shetima and a meeting of northern governors with US officials: “Why and how did this happen? These were innocent teenagers. Why did the state Governor [Kashim Shetima] not provide security for the school...? The Governors of the other two states facing similar fate heeded the advice by relocating children... If the children must stay behind... why didn’t the State Governor make arrangements to protect the school children? “All the nineteen governors of Northern Nigeria had been invited to a meeting... A few weeks before the Chibok girls were kidnapped. At that meeting, the Borno State Governor [Kashim Shetima] vehemently made spurious claims about my administration...”

President Tinubu today has done more than any leader for northern Nigeria. He will get more votes in 2027 than he got in 2023. - Governor Uba Sani “President Tinubu today has done more than any leader for northern Nigeria. I can tell you categorically that no president has done as much for the North in terms of development as President Tinubu has done in the last three years, and I’m speaking based on data and statistics. “A lot of people have come here and told you that the North will not vote for Asiwaju. That is a figment of their imagination. I can tell you categorically, as the governor of Kaduna State, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu will get more votes in 2027 than he got in 2023.” - Kaduna state Governor Senator Uba Sani
