🛑IMPRESSIVE- Today the Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum spoke in front of more of 350,000 Mexicans. The incredible support showed since early in the morning. A pretty shocking speech, tackling the questions that everyone in the world were wondering about her government. These are a few pointers, which I was present to hear: 1 . In a patriotic speech, she said we will always put the respect of our country in our nation over everything. 2. We accomplish a great amount of respect between the President of the United States and our government to hold on the tariffs all the way to 2 April. 3. Their will be no reciprocal tariff, because we are not going to tariff the United States. 4. Always with the dialogue of respect we are going to accomplish a greater relationship with our neighbor. 5. We are neighbors. It is our responsibility to collaborate with each other and help each other, the time is now. 6. Our government will not be force to no foreign hegemony 7 . I am convinced that we are fighting fentanyl from January to now we have decreased more than 40% in our territory. 8. We will collaborate with the United States to crack down the fentanyl trafficking, because we are concerned of the youth of that great nation. 9. The government of the United States of America has acknowledge that they have huge gun trafficking problem to our country of Mexico, to feed the cartel. 10. I'm grateful to Lindsey for recognizing our warriors. The stronger Ukraine is on the battlefield, the greater the chances that diplomacy will ultimately succeed. And right now, it is important that our long-range sanctions pressure on Russia be reinforced through new sanctions steps by our partners. Lindsey briefed me on the work underway in Congress on the relevant bill. We also discussed our urgent air defense needs to protect our people. During the NATO Summit in Ankara, President Trump and I reached political agreements on licensing the production of Patriots in Ukraine. It is now crucial to implement all of this at the team level. I believe that America is a great country. I believe that our best days lie ahead. I want to support a candidate for president who believes the same. I believe that we don’t have to agree on every issue or policy, but that we should use the political process created by our founders to debate and to persuade, not disparage or demonize. I want to support a candidate who understands that political opponents are fellow citizens—the loyal opposition as our parties once knew each other—not the enemy. Having spent the past three years overseas as a United States ambassador, I’ve seen up close that we have very real enemies abroad. We also have vital and indispensable allies. I want to support a presidential candidate who understands and appreciates the difference. I believe in our constitutional system and in the rule of law. And I want to support a candidate who respects the will of the voters and would never attempt to use the powers of the presidency to overturn an election after having been turned out by the voters. Finally, I want to support a presidential candidate who seeks to unite our country, rather than one who divides us—one who represents the ideals of a new generation of leadership based not on grievances of the past, but hope for the future. For all of these reasons, I’ll be supporting Kamala Harris for president and Tim Walz for vice president. I’ve served with Kamala in the United States Senate. I’ve also served with Tim in the United States House of Representatives. I know them. I know firsthand of their fine character and their love of country. I would encourage all Republicans who feel this way to do the same. After all, in times like these, there is nothing more conservative than putting country over party."

It’s — it’s been crazier, to be honest with you, because the hundreds of millions of people back here in the United States, like, we felt the support. Whether you liked hockey or not, it united everybody and cheered for one team. And it was most special team to ever be part of and it meant the world for me to be on this team and it meant the world for me to represent this country and I don’t know if I’ll ever have an experience that will replicate the last few weeks and what this has meant to — I mean, our lives have changed forever to be completely honest. I agree with this fellow veteran, and as a United States Army veteran myself, I understand the anger, frustration, and deep sense of betrayal he is expressing. We raised our right hands and swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. We served with pride, believing in our country, our freedoms, and the principles generations of American service members fought and died to protect. And now, many of us feel betrayed by the very government we swore to defend. We watch political agendas take priority over the safety and well-being of American citizens, while the sacrifices of our veterans and their families seem to be forgotten. That sense of betrayal cuts deep. We gave years of our lives in service to this nation. Some of our brothers and sisters gave everything. We didn't make those sacrifices expecting perfection from our government, but we certainly expected integrity, accountability, and loyalty to the Constitution. We haven't turned our backs on America. We feel as though those entrusted with leading her have turned their backs on us. Our love for this country has never wavered. That's precisely why this betrayal hurts so much. 🇺🇸❤️
